Finding Us The monastery is 2 miles on a private road off Farrington Highway. The road begins between Waialua High School and the Waialua Congregational Church. The road is paved for first 1/3rd mile until it passes Pioneer Products. It is unpaved for 1 mile until it reaches the first horse corral. Make a right turn to a paved road that proceeds westward by norfolk island pines. You pass through a gully, then through Stanhope Farms. The monastery property begins after the second group of horse corrals. Please park at the main parking lot to the right just below the pavilion, the large gray building with the red roof.
The Gate Note that the gate by Pioneer Products is often closed and locked after 5 PM (although times may earlier on weekends) and is reopened around 6 AM the following morning. The gate near Farrington Hwy. is also closed and locked during the night hours. Try to plan your visit to the monastery during the day hours. If you need to come during the night hours, make arrangements ahead of time so we know when to expect you.
Hours: Our normal visiting hours are from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM on weekdays. On Saturdays, Sundays, Holy Days from 9:00 AM to 4:30 PM.
Masses: These are the normal times but this can vary according to community scheduling needs, especially on Mondays and Saturdays and sometimes on Fridays. It is recommended that you contact us ahead of time to confirm, if you plan to drop in for Mass.
Mondays thru Thursdays: 8:00 AM Fridays: around 7:15 PM following rosary Saturdays: 7:30 AM if there is no retreat or work group visiting. 6:00 AM if there is a retreat group or work group here. 8:30 AM if the BCC pre-retreat team is here.
